In March, EFT headed to Sungai Menyala Edu Ecotourism Centre, a reserve covering 1,280 hectares of secondary rainforest, for a one-day trip with EPSOM college. The trip focused on teaching students all the skills they need to investigate a tropical rainforest’s biological health.
In March, EFT took a trip to Langkawi. The 10-11 year olds got right into exploring the island at Durian waterfall. While enjoying the cool stream, they learned how to conduct a freshwater ecosystem survey.
To start out 2019, new and old EFT staff from around the world, gathered in Singapore to commence annual training. The new field biologists of 2019 represent Singapore, the UK, Indonesia, and the US.
